Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: 17th April,2026

1. Purpose

This Return and Refund Policy sets out the terms and conditions under which goods purchased from GATSBY WEARS may be returned and considered for refund, exchange, or store review.

2. Return Window

Customers may request a return of eligible goods within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be provided at the time of the return request, including but not limited to:

  • Original invoice or money receipt
  • Order confirmation
  • Delivery receipt
  • Any other valid proof of purchase issued by GATSBY WEARS

3. Conditions for Return Eligibility

A product will only be considered eligible for return if all of the following conditions are satisfied:

  1. The return request is made within the 7-day return period.
  2. The item is returned in its original condition.
  3. The item shows no physical damage, including but not limited to:
    • Tears
    • Cuts
    • Burns
    • Stains
    • Scratches
    • Breakage
    • Water damage
    • Alteration
    • Missing parts or accessories
  4. The item is unused, unwashed, and not materially altered from the condition in which it was sold.
  5. Original packaging, tags, labels, manuals, accessories, or promotional items, where applicable, are returned with the product.

4. Non-Refundable and Rejected Returns

No refund shall be issued if, upon inspection by GATSBY WEARS, the returned product is found to have any physical damage or any sign of misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, mishandling, or use inconsistent with the nature of the product.

For the avoidance of doubt, products with visible or hidden damage caused after purchase shall be rejected for refund.

5. Inspection and Approval

All returned items shall be subject to inspection and verification by GATSBY WEARS before any refund or exchange decision is made. Submission of a product for return does not automatically guarantee approval of a refund.

The final determination regarding:

  • product condition,
  • eligibility for return,
  • existence of physical damage, and
  • refund approval

shall be made by GATSBY WEARS, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

6. Refund Method

If a return is approved, the refund shall be made through one of the following methods, at the discretion of GATSBY WEARS and subject to applicable law:

  • Cash refund
  • Bank transfer
  • Mobile financial service transfer
  • Original payment method
  • Store credit or exchange, if agreed by the customer

Refund processing time may take 7 business days from the date of approval.

7. Items Not Eligible for Return

Unless otherwise required by law, the following items shall not be eligible for return or refund:

  • Used or damaged items
  • Products returned after 7 days from purchase
  • Clearance, discounted, promotional, or final-sale items
  • Customized or altered goods
  • Innerwear, personal-use items, or hygiene-sensitive goods
  • Items without valid proof of purchase
  • Items missing original packaging, tags, or essential accessories

8. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for checking the product at the time of delivery or collection. Any complaint regarding visible condition, quantity, or apparent issue should be reported promptly.

Where return by courier is permitted, the customer may be responsible for the return shipping cost unless the return is due to a verified fault attributable to GATSBY WEARS.

9. Rights Under Applicable Law

This policy shall be read subject to all applicable consumer-protection laws and regulations in force in Bangladesh. Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or exclude any legal right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Bangladesh consumer-rights authorities provide complaint procedures and recognize written proof of purchase as relevant to claims.

10. Amendments

GATSBY WEARS reserves the right to amend, update, or revise this Return and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice, provided that the version in effect on the purchase date shall apply to that transaction unless otherwise required by law.
